Day 1 ... - Belgrade
Picking up the group at the airport. Transfer and accommodation in the hotel. In the evening a get to know tour around the city center (Terazije, Knez Mihailova street, The Republic Square) and dinner in Skadarlija, bohemian quarter located in the very center of Belgrade. Skadrlija is a cobble paved street dating back to the beginning of the 19th century. It was famous for being a favorite meeting place/venue of well known Belgrade bohemians, poets, painters, actors from the nearby theater, as well as of many lovers of good alcoholic drinks, socializing and spoken word with friends. Over all these years of progress and modernization of the city and society Skadarlija has managed to preserve the spirit of old times and just because of that it has become a favorite to citizens of Belgrade and many tourists. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 Belgrade
Breakfast. Going to Belgrade sightseeing (www.beograd.rs): The St. Sava Temple, Terazije, Republic Square, The National Museum, Studentski trg, Belgrade fortress - Kalemegdan, The Cathedral Church, The Ethnographic museum, The Assembly of the City of Belgrade, Str. Knez Milosa, Bulevar mira, The Memorial Center Josip Broz Tito ... Continuation of sightseeing in Zemun. Zemun is really distinguished by its tradition: fortification on Gardos which has been mentioned as early as in the 9th century. The St. Father Nicolaj Church. Magistrate square, Zemun quay, the Old Captan's House and The Old Customs House... Lunch. Return to the hotel. Free afternoon time. Supper. Overnight.
Day 3 Belgrade - Oplenac - Sirogojno - Zlatibor
Breakfast. Touring of the old town in Topola and Mausoleum of the Serbian Royal Family on Oplenac (www.topolaoplenac.org.rs). Continuation of the trip to Mt. Zlatibor. Accommodation in the hotel. Lunch. Departure for Sirogojno, village-museum in the open which features architecture, arrangement, economy and way of life in mountainous regions on Zlatibor. Return to the hotel. Supper. Overnight.
Day 4 Zlatibor - Mecavnik - Visegrad - Sarajevo
Breakfast. Departure for Mecavnik - built according to the idea of a famous film director Emir Kusturica. Continuation of the trip to Visegrad, Touring of the old bridge, famous "Bridge over the Drina river" and monument to Ivo Andric, Andric's town, erected by Emir Kusturica and the Government of the Republic of Srpska in honour of the Nobel Prize Winner. Continuation of the trip to Sarajevo. Accommodation in the hotel. Lunch and a short rest. Sarajevo, being situated on the crossroads of eastern and northern, northern and southern cultures, was fortunate enough that in its six century long history has become progressive and enriched spiritually (www.sarajevo-tourism.com./bos/). Sightseeing of the old part of the town, Bascarsija, Coppersmith's street, Bey mosque .... Dinner in Baščaršija. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 5 Sarajevo - Mostar - Pocitelj - Dubrovnik
Breakfast. Departure for Mostar (www. turizam.mostar.ba/). Touring of edifices dating back to the Turkish age: Old Bridge, Kalebija Tower, Hercegusa Tower, Sahat Tower (Clock Tower), Crooked Bridge - one of the oldest preserved monuments from the Ottoman period, built before 1558 and according to oral history the Old Bridge was built as a copy of the small bridge. Coppersmith's street - old Mostar's "carsija" ("çarşı" in Turkish means "bazaar" or "market") is located on the left side of the Neretva river with its workshops and souvenir shops. Free time for lunch. The trip is continued by touring Pocitelj, town-fortress dating back to the middle ages. It is situated along the left bank of the Neretva river. This picturesque small town constitutes one of the most beautiful cultural-historical entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Continuation of the trip to Dubrovnik - unique in the world due to its impressive medieval fortresses, churches, convents and palaces and is often called a pearl of the Adriatic. Accommodation in the hotel. Lunch. Supper. Spare time in the evening. Overnight.
Day 6 Dubrovnik - Kotor - Budva
Breakfast. Sightseeing of Dubrovnik: The Sponza Palace, Orlando Column, Fort Lovrenac, walking along Stradun (Placa Street)... (www.tzdubrovnik.hr/). Lunch in Ćatovića's mill. Departure for Kotor (www.tokotor.me/). Accommodation in one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Kotor, a town of merchants and famous seafarers has a lot to tell about. The old town Kotor is the best preserved medieval urban setting typical of towns established in the 12th and 14th century. Thanks to its medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage, Kotor found its place on the UNESCO's list of "World Natural and Cultural Heritage". Throughout the town there are buildings, interweaved by streets and squares. On one of them there is also The St. Tryphon's Cathedral, a monument to Roman culture and one of the recognizable symbols of the town. Touring: The St. Lucas's church, The Santa Anna church, The St. Mary's Church, The Church of Our Lady of Health, Duke's Palace. Napoleon Theatre... Continuation of the trip for Budva. Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner in a traditional fish restarunat. Overnight.
Day 7 Budva - Cetinje - Studenica - Vrnjacka Banja
Breakfast. Departure for Cetinje - historical royal town and the second most important town of Montenegro. Cetinje due to its rich heritage and its long status of the capital of Montenegro nowadays is an honorary capital of Montenegro. Touring of the town: The Historical Museum of Montenegro, The Ethnographic Museum of Montenegro, The King Nicola's Court and the Njegos's Museum... Continuation of the trip. Lunch in Novi Pazar. Going to the monastery Studenica (www. manastirstudenica.rs/) - one of the most significant, the largest and the richest monasteries of Serbian Orthodox Church, which was founded by Stefan Nemanja in 1190. Monastery is known for its collection of frescos dating from the 13 and 14th century. UNESCO in 1986 included Studenica in the list of The World Heritage. After touring Studenica departure for Vrnjacka Spa. Arrival to Vrnjacka spa in the evening. Accommodation in the hotel. Supper. Overnight.
Day 8 Vrnjacka Banja - Žiča - Knić - Kragujevac - Belgrade
Breakfast. Departure for Zica. Touring of the Serbian medieval monastery from the first half of the 13th century. It was erected by the first king of Serbia, Stefan Nemanjic. According to historical data, 7 Serbian kings have been crowned in Zica. Continuation of the trip and going to lunch in rural household in the village of Knic. After lunch departure for Kragujevac. Touring of the Memorial Park Sumarice, dedicated to the executed citizens of Kragujevac by the Wehrmacht on the 21st day of October 1941. Continuation of the trip to Belgrade. Accommodation in the hotel. Overnight.
